To amplify the impact our limited grant making budget can have on our community, we are partnering with passionate donors to offer additional funding opportunities. GCF and our donors are joining together to offer requests for proposals to meaningfully and collectively support organizations through our Giving Circles.

Funding Focus

GCF and a group of passionate donors have joined together to offer this Request for Proposals (RFP) to collectively support organizations focused on removing barriers for African Americans in our region.  Applications should explicitly address the following purpose: 

To support nonprofit organizations and/or programming focused on improving the quality of life for African Americans in one of the following areas:

  • Assisting youth under age 17 and/or youth age 18 and older aging out of foster care to access food, stable housing, legal services, education and employment.
  • Assisting single mothers to access food, stable housing, legal services and otherwise remove barriers to self-sufficiency.

Leadership Northern Kentucky

Funding Focus

GCF and the LNK Class of 2020 have joined together to offer this Request for Proposals (RFP) to meaningfully and collectively support the Northern Kentucky community. Financial support for this RFP comes from GCF endowments dedicated to grantmaking in Northern Kentucky and from members of the class and their fundraising efforts.

Applications should explicitly address the following purpose:

  •  Provide housing assistance and/or transportation assistance to individuals in need who are working toward the goals of supporting themselves and creating stability. 

*Please note, GCF is on a calendar year schedule: Quarter 1 is January - March, Quarter 2 is April - June, Quarter 3 is July -September, Quarter 4 is October - December.
